Is the DuraXV Extreme+ still sold?

On Oct. 15, 2026, Kyocera's page for the DuraXV Extreme+ (kyoceramobile.com/rugged-devices/duraxv-extreme-plus) showed "The page you are looking for cannot be found," although Kyocera's home page still links to it. Verizon's consumer page said "This product is no longer available," and the Verizon Business page showed "Out of Stock" with a full retail price of $250.00.

Kyocera's December 2025 page (Wayback Machine copy) still offered it to consumers, businesses and government buyers at an MSRP of $250, in camera and non-camera versions.

The only flip phone on Kyocera's current device menu is the DuraXA Equip, which Kyocera sells unlocked through its Solutions Store ($179.98, down from a $215.99 MSRP, on Oct. 15, 2026). [1][2][3][4][5]

Where to get one now

Verizon Business still has a product page, but it was out of stock on Oct. 15, 2026. Otherwise expect used or refurbished units from third-party sellers. [4]

Apps and Google

Kyocera's system is built on Android (Kyocera lists "AOSP (Proprietary)," Verizon "Android Q (AOSP)"), but neither Kyocera nor Verizon lists any Google apps or an app store, so you can't add apps. Kyocera highlights a customizable menu, programmable keys (SOS and push-to-talk need a subscription), a 5 MP camera and a mobile hotspot for up to 10 connections. [2][4]

Will it work in the US?

Kyocera built it for Verizon: its page says you get communication "over Verizon's 4G LTE network." Kyocera lists LTE bands 2, 4, 5, 12 and 13 and UMTS bands 1, 2 and 5. With that short LTE list, it isn't a good fit for other carriers; check with yours first. [2]
