The Lively Jitterbug Flip3 is a 5G flip phone for older adults with a 3.2-inch screen, big backlit buttons and a Help button for Lively's Urgent Response service. It replaces the Jitterbug Flip2, which Lively no longer sells. As of Oct. 15, 2026, Lively sells it for $59.99 (regular price $79.99), and it works only with a Lively service plan. [1][2]

Jitterbug Flip2 vs. Flip3
Lively's Flip2 page says: "The Jitterbug Flip2 is no longer available, but you can enjoy the latest features and improvements with the all-new Jitterbug Flip3." The Flip2 was sold with 16 GB of storage, an 8 MP camera with flash, a reading magnifier and an Urgent Response button. Lively also offers open-box Flip2 phones at a discount.
The Flip3 adds 5G and Wi-Fi calling, has 64 GB of storage and 3 GB of RAM, and has a 5 MP camera with LED flash. [1][2]

What it does
Lively designed the Flip3 for older adults: a high-contrast screen with large text, simple menus in a large or list view, backlit tactile buttons, a no-slip grip, voice dialing ("Dial" and the contact name), spam call blocking and a loud speaker.
The Help button connects to Urgent Response, Lively's 24/7 emergency agents, if your plan includes it. The Lively Link app can alert family when you call Urgent Response. Lively says battery life is up to 12 hours. [2][3]
Apps and Google
The Flip3 runs Lively's own system with Lively's built-in apps only. Lively's user guide lists Phone, Contacts, Recent Calls, Text Messages, Camera, Gallery, Settings, Weather and Tools such as Calculator, Reminders and Alarm Clock, and mentions no Google apps, no Play Store or other app store and no web browser.
It's built on Android 16 Go, but you can't install apps. [2][3]
Where it is sold and how to get one
Lively sells the Flip3 on its online shop in red or black. As of Oct. 15, 2026:

- Plans: Flip Phone Plan Basic $14.99/month (300 minutes and 300 texts), Preferred $34.99 and Premium $44.99, plus taxes and fees; Lively says these prices need paperless billing (its Broadband Facts label lists the Basic plan at $19.99 without it)
- Fees Lively lists: a $3.23 monthly admin fee and a $35 one-time activation fee
Lively says there is no long-term contract and no cancellation fee. You choose the plan when you activate the phone. Returns are accepted within 30 days, less a restocking fee if activated. [2]
Will it work in the US?
Yes, but only on Lively's service: the Flip3 comes with a Lively nano-SIM installed and "cannot be used with other carriers." Lively advertises nationwide 5G coverage and Wi-Fi calling. [2]
