What it is

Sharp designed the AQUOS Keitai 4 around calls. Sharp says a separate rear speaker makes the ringtone about twice as loud as its 2019 model (SoftBank names the AQUOS Keitai 3), and a large 15 x 11 mm receiver makes voices easier to hear. It supports VoLTE (HD+) calling.

It has a 3.4-inch qHD (540 x 960) main screen, a 0.9-inch OLED outer screen, an 8 MP camera, a removable 1,680 mAh battery and a microSD slot. Sharp rates it IPX5/IPX8 waterproof, IP5X dustproof and compliant with MIL-STD-810H drop and other tests. [1][5][7]

Apps and Google

This is a feature phone, not a smartphone. Sharp's spec page lists built-in tools: calendar, alarm, calculator, notepad, timer, stopwatch, world clock, voice recorder and pedometer. SoftBank's manual covers mail, a web browser, tethering and SoftBank's own services, and does not mention Google Play or any Google app.

Google's list of Google Play supported devices (checked Oct. 15, 2026) has no entry for the A206SH. [3][6][7]

Where it is sold and how to get one

SoftBank sells the AQUOS Keitai 4 in its stores and online shop. On Oct. 15, 2026, SoftBank's feature-phone list showed it at ¥32,400, next to the DIGNO Keitai 4 and Kantan Keitai 11. Sharp says it was launched for both SoftBank and Y!mobile.

SoftBank's shop is in Japanese and is for SoftBank customers in Japan. We did not find an importer listing for a new unit that we could verify on Oct. 15, 2026. Its LTE band list is short (see below), so compare it with your carrier's bands before importing one. [1][2][5]

Will it work in the US?

SoftBank's band sheet lists LTE bands 1, 3 and 8, W-CDMA (3G) bands I and VIII, and GSM 900/1800/1900 MHz for use abroad, with no 5G. Compare that list with your carrier's bands in our guide to US carrier bands. SoftBank also says it doesn't guarantee the phone on networks other than its own. [4]

What's different
