The Nokia 6310 (2024) is HMD's updated remake of the classic Nokia 6310: a keypad phone with a curved 2.8-inch screen, large-font accessibility mode, FM radio, Snake and a removable 1,450 mAh battery. It runs Series 30+ (S30+), with no Google apps. It is a 2G-only phone (GSM 900/1800), so it can't be used on US networks. HMD India sells it for ₹3,839 (in stock on Oct. 15, 2026). [1][2][3]

What it is

HMD (Human Mobile Devices), the Finnish licensee of the Nokia phone brand, sells the Nokia 6310 as "remade for today, but with its classic design intact." HMD lists zoomed-in menus and larger fonts, an accessibility mode that sets "a one-icon view," a 2.8-inch QVGA IPS display, Snake and a wireless FM radio that works without a headset.

HMD's site has two versions. The Nokia 6310 (2024) has USB-C, a 1,450 mAh removable battery, 8 MB RAM and 16 MB storage. The earlier Nokia 6310 (2021) has Micro USB, a 1,150 mAh battery and a Unisoc 6531F chip. Both are 135.5 x 56 x 14.1 mm and 2G only. [1][2][4]

Will it work in the US?

No. HMD lists the network as "GSM/GPRS 900/1800" with 2G as the maximum speed. T-Mobile's network-evolution page gives Aug. 3, 2026 as the date its 2G GSM network is retired; that network used band 2 (1900 MHz), which the 6310 doesn't have anyway. AT&T says a phone "has to operate on 4G LTE network" to work on its network. The FCC says 3G shutdowns also cut off phones without VoLTE (Voice over LTE). The Nokia 6310 is a phone for countries that still run 2G networks on 900/1800 MHz. [2][6][7][8][9]

Apps and Google

No Google apps, no app store, no internet browser listed. The operating system is S30+ (Series 30+), Nokia's basic feature-phone software. Built-in extras: Snake, FM radio, MP3 player (with a microSD card) and a torch. [1][2]

Questions people ask

Can I use the Nokia 6310 (2024) in the US?

No. It only supports 2G GSM 900/1800. T-Mobile retired its 2G network on Aug. 3, 2026 (it ran on 1900 MHz, which the 6310 lacks), and AT&T requires phones that work on its 4G LTE network. [2][6][7][8]

What changed in the 2024 Nokia 6310?

HMD's spec pages show USB-C instead of Micro USB and a 1,450 mAh battery instead of 1,150 mAh. Size, screen and the 2G network stayed the same. [2][4]
