Will it work in the US?
Unknown. Masstel says the Izi T9 is a 4G phone with VoLTE calling, but its product page does not list the phone's 2G, 3G or 4G bands. A phone only connects where it supports the bands a carrier uses, so check with your carrier before trying it. See phone bands and US carriers. [1]
Apps and Google
Masstel sells the Izi T9 as a 4G feature phone ("điện thoại phổ thông") with a simple Vietnamese menu and names no operating system; it lists no Google services or app store. Masstel lists calls over 4G VoLTE, texts, wireless FM radio, a flashlight and a lunar calendar among its functions. [1]
What's different
Masstel aims the Izi T9 at older people and workers who only need calls. It has large keys, a 2.4-inch screen, a loudspeaker Masstel calls "2030 Box", and a 3,000 mAh battery, which Masstel says gives up to 22 days of standby. The LED flashlight sits on the center key. It comes in black, green and dark blue. [1]
