Where it is sold and how to get one

Fplus is a Russian maker whose catalog covers servers, computers, network gear and mobile devices. It started retail sales of the R570E in Nov. 2023 at the flagship store of the Vsesmart chain in Moscow, at a promo price of 14,990 rubles for the first batch. Fplus said its tablets and phones are open to a wide range of buyers but are aimed first at government and large-company users, plus enthusiasts and developers.

On May 20, 2025, OMP and Fplus announced that the R570E with fifth-generation Aurora OS and the preinstalled RuStore app store was on sale at Vsesmart for 16,990 rubles. RuStore's Aurora page shows the R570E as its example of a device on open sale.

As of Oct. 15, 2026, OMP's page for the R570E says it is out of production ("Снят с производства"). Fplus's product page still lists it with a link to its dealers, but no price. Third-party Russian dealers we checked showed it as made to order with price on request (Tinvest) or as discontinued and archived (Komrunet, which delivers within Russia).

We found no official seller that ships outside Russia, and no retail listing for single phones abroad. For business buyers only, a third-party wholesale marketplace, Tonzar, listed it at $240-$720 with a minimum order of 10 pieces on Oct. 15, 2026, as a quote request without shipping terms. We have not tested any seller.

Fplus announced two new phones, Mizar and Alkor, on June 2, 2025, saying they will replace its previous mobile lineup, ship with Aurora 5 or RED OS M, and are not planned for retail sale for now. Fplus said then that more than 20,000 R570E phones were in use at Russian Railways. In March 2026 Fplus announced the GLS-1, a phone made with the company GLONASS on the basis of the R570E, sold to businesses and government for specific projects. [2][3][4][5][7][8][9][10][11][12]

Will it work in the US?

Probably not on 4G. A band is a slice of radio spectrum; a phone only connects where it supports the bands a carrier uses. Fplus lists these networks for the R570E: 2G 850/900/1800/1900, 3G 900/2100, and 4G LTE bands 1, 3, 7 and 20.

- T-Mobile lists its 4G LTE bands as 4, 5 and 66, plus 12 and 71 for extended range. The R570E's list has none of them. T-Mobile also had a 2G network on band 2 (1900 MHz), but its network-evolution page says "As of August 3, 2026, T-Mobile's 2G GSM network will be retired." - AT&T says a device must work on its 4G LTE network on "AWS, 700, 850, 1900MHz bands". - Fplus's spec page lists no 5G bands.

Apps and Google

The R570E runs Aurora OS, not Android, so there are no Google services. OMP's documentation describes Aurora OS as a mobile Linux operating system. Its developer documentation says native Aurora apps are written with the Qt framework or Flutter, and that adapting an Android app depends on the technology it was written in. In other words, Android apps don't install as they are; their developers have to port them.

Apps come from RuStore, which is preinstalled. OMP said at launch that every fifth Aurora app in RuStore is a game, and that banking apps such as Alfa-Bank and T-Bank and the Wildberries shopping service are available. Fplus said in 2023 that its Aurora devices came with the Dr.Web antivirus and the MyOffice Documents office app. [1][2][5][6]

Software support

OMP's May 2025 announcement says the retail R570E runs fifth-generation Aurora OS. Neither Fplus nor OMP publishes an update promise for it. OMP's table of support periods for the certified edition of Aurora OS lists eight tablets and phones with support until 2030; the R570E is not among them. [2][16]

What's different

Fplus calls the R570E a rugged smartphone for corporate use. It has an IP68 rating against water and dust, a dedicated push-to-talk (PTT) button, fingerprint and face unlock, NFC, a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a 5,080 mAh battery that can charge other devices over USB-C (OTG). Fplus also sells a related R570 model; its spec page lists Aurora, Android 13 with Google services, or Android 10 AOSP as the operating system options. [4][17]

US import rules for goods from Russia

This is not legal advice; check with US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) or a customs broker before importing.

- Tariffs. CBP says that under the Suspending Normal Trade Relations with Russia and Belarus Act, signed April 8, 2022, imports from Russia are subject to the "Column 2" duty rates of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS), and that presidential proclamations raised Column 2 rates for certain products. The HTS lists a Column 2 rate of 35% for smartphones (subheading 8517.13.00.00); CBP decides how an item is classified. - Import bans. The Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) says Executive Order 14068 bans imports of certain Russian-origin products, naming fish, seafood, alcoholic beverages, non-industrial diamonds, and other products the Treasury determines.
